Colorado College Friends

We had a great weekend in Phoenix visiting the McCormick-Stillman Train Park. Alden just beamed when he rode the carousel. Imagine a city park with a bunch of pint sized and rideable trains running through it, with lots of tunnels, bridges and water towers. And only a buck a ride, with no entrance fee. We also visited our friends Aliang and Ming, who welcomed home a brand new baby girl two weeks ago.
Over the last month, we've also been fortunate to have many of our CC friends come and visit. In March, Sarah Ivy Gibb ('96) and Alison Davis ('96) visited for a short time (below center). One weekend later we enjoyed the company of Jen Hull ('96) and her longtime boyfriend, Ben Fuhr (middle picture). We had a great dinner and they sat through some of my 5,406 pictures of the kids and family. The next morning we had a great breakfast at the little Cafe Poca Cosa and toured the Tumamoc Hill. While in Phoenix this weekend, we also saw Mary [Kocman] Cohen ('96) and Josh Cohen ('98) (lower right). We spent the afternoon chatting and watching Alden squash ants and bump his head on a glass table. Isaac also watched. So to all our friends who came to visit, thanks! We hope we can return the favor...
